Action Plan

The Action Plan portion of the Business Academy is divided into one session where we will kick-off your journey towards developing a children’s rights due diligence plan and a roundtable discussion in the fall to have you discuss your progress with the other participants.

Nina Vollmer

Research Manager

As Research Manager, Nina’s main area of responsibility is to lead and develop the work on the Corporate Benchmark Studies on children’s rights that Global Child Forum produces in collaboration with Boston Consulting Group. In addition to this work, she also takes on other research projects and works on developing the content/inviting speakers for Forums and events. She has previously worked at the Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation, the Swedish Teacher’s Union, the Swedish Fellowship of Reconciliation – SweFOR in Colombia and SonyEricsson. She has also held the voluntary position of group secretary for Amnesty Business Group Sweden and been a member of the Board of Directors at Amnesty Sweden. She has a Master’s Degree in Political Science with a focus on human rights and development from Lund University in Sweden. Nina joined Global Child Forum in 2015.

Adrien Askmo

Program Manager

Adrien joined the Global Child Forum at the start of 2016 and since then has worked in both research and in contributing to the Forum process. Prior to joining Global Child Forum, he worked at the Stockholm Policy Group, a management consulting firm specializing in peace, security and development, and international law and human rights. While there he worked on reports for various development agencies analyzing their out-of-country programs with a focus on conflict sensitivity. He has also worked as a teacher in Thailand, France and the United Kingdom. He earned an MA in International Relations from the University of Warwick, where he graduated first in his year. He also received a BA in History, with a minor in Economics, from Westminster College.
